Returns & Exchanges

At KajauChapter, we aim to deliver products in perfect condition. To ensure a smooth shopping experience, please read our Return & Exchange Policy below.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns or exchanges only under these conditions:

1.1 Damaged or Defective Item

You may request a replacement if:

  • The product arrives damaged, broken, or leaking
  • The packaging is severely dented or crushed
  • The item is not functioning as intended (if applicable)

1.2 Wrong Item Received

You may request a return/exchange if you receive:

  • A product different from what you ordered
  • The wrong variant, fragrance, or quantity

2. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

For safety and hygiene purposes, we do not accept returns or exchanges for the following:

  • Opened or used skincare or fragrance products
  • Products with broken seals
  • Items damaged due to customer handling
  • Change-of-mind purchases
  • Free gifts or promotional items

3. Return Request Timeline

You must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item.

Requests made after 3 days will not be accepted.

4. How to Request a Return or Exchange

To initiate a request, contact us through WhatsApp or email and provide:

  1. Order number
  2. Full name
  3. Photo/video of:
    • The damaged/incorrect item
    • The packaging (including courier label)
  4. Brief explanation of the issue

Our customer service team will review your request within 24–48 hours.

5. Return Shipping

5.1 For Approved Claims (Damaged / Wrong Item)

  • Return shipping cost will be covered by us
  • A new replacement will be sent at no extra charge

5.2 For Unapproved or Invalid Claims

  • Return shipping cost must be borne by the customer

6. Refund Policy

We generally provide exchanges only, not refunds.

A refund will only be issued if:

  • The product is out of stock, and
  • No replacement option is available

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 3–7 working days.

7. Condition for Returned Items

Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • Unopened
  • In original packaging
  • With all labels intact

Failing to meet these conditions will result in the return being rejected.
